In our first week, you will be introduced to the must-know knowledge of online learning in university settings, such as the types of online learning, challenges in online learning, differences from face-to-face learning, and misconceptions of online learning. Also, you will be introduced to some important resources and technologies provided by the Ohio State University to support your learning in this course and your future online learning.   • Describe the features of online learning and identify common challenges learners may face in this setting.
  • Compare and contrast the different features of online and face-to-face learning. 
  • Identify the OSU-supported resources and technologies to assist you in this course and your degree program.
  • Meet other students in our class and participate in a live meeting together.
