Reading Timeline

At the beginning of the semester you will choose one of the following books to read over the course of the first half of the semester. You may buy the book or borrow it from a library. You will use this book as an important source in your Analytical Research Project (which takes place over the course of the whole semester), as well as the topic of your Book Review Presentation (which comes at the end of the semester). You can read more about each of these projects in the Overview of Major Assignments posted in the Week One module.

In order to be able to complete your other assignments you should:

email me (rose-cohen.1@osu.edu) by Monday, May 15 with your book selection
read at least 1/3 of the book by Wednesday, June 5 so that you will be able to summarize it in your Annotated Bibliography due Wednesday, June 14
read at least 2/3 of the book by Friday, June 23 so that you will be able to use it effectively as a secondary source in your Secondary Source Integration assignment due Monday, June 26.
read the entire book by Monday July 10, so that you will have time to create your Book Review Presentation due Friday, July 21
