Pests and Diseases in Our Daily Lives

This week we will introduce different types of plant pests and diseases. We'll cover some terms and concepts that are, in many cases, applicable to plant, human and animal diseases. It's important to understand the difference between a virus and a bacterium, an insect and a mite or a fungus and a nematode to be able to properly treat and manage the problem.
